I am an engineering leader and a hands-on builder.

Been doing this for over a decade now, mostly with Ruby on Rails but I've had my moments with other tech and try to exist outside the Ruby bubble. I like deleting code more than writing it, and I believe good enough beats perfect every time.

I've been working remotely since 2015 - before it was cool, before COVID made it mandatory, back when people actually questioned if it could work.

When I'm not working: lifting weights in my home gym, losing at bullet chess, listening to podcasts and audiobooks. I have a video game backlog, but World of Warcraft keeps getting in the way (Alliance rogue for life).
